We're moving forward, not backward

Viktor Orbán has been Hungary's Prime Minister for over 14 years, making him the longest-serving head of government in the European Union. This series examines various aspects of the system's operation, including the process of building a political cult and the siphoning of public funds. State investments, public procurement projects and the System of National Cooperation (NER) have often become symbols of corruption.

Another central focus of the project is the functioning of the propaganda machinery. Unified messages in government communication, the centralization of the media market and the silencing of critical voices are all part of a mechanism aimed at presenting a unilateral perspective on societal reality. The impact of political rhetoric on reality becomes particularly tangible during street protests, where citizens express their discontent through various protest symbols.
