War-Life Balance
Since the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian war, between February 24, 2022 and February 24, 2025 the air raid siren in Kyiv has sounded 1539 times, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko. A total of 210 civilians have died in the attacks, including 11 children. Drone and missile strikes have damaged 1239 residential buildings, 194 educational institutions and 41 healthcare facilities.
In February 2025, I spent 10 days in Kyiv to experience how Kyiv residents live during these times.
